The Kalyana Nagar Association on TM Soundararajan Salai in Mandaveli

conducted Panchanga Patanam with former India’s Chief Election

Commissioner T S Krishnamurthy as chief guest.

Krishnamurthy spoke about the role of Panchankam in the daily

activities of a Hindu and the need to consult the almanac regularly.

Vedic M R Vijay Sharma read out the Viswavasu Panchangam and

explained its salient features. Papanasam Kumar rendered Bakthi

songs. Dr S M Srinivasan, president and Thambi K Parthasarathy,

secretary attended the event with other office bearers
