Free eye camp at Bommai Chatram

Global Welfare Foundation and Sankara Nethralaya Eye Hospital

conducted a free eye care camp at Vyasarpadi Vinayaga Mudaliar Hall

(Bommai Chatram) in South Mada Street in Mylapore recently where

free eye check up was done to deserving patients with free

consultation.

Those suffering from cataract were taken to Sankara Nethralaya Eye

Hospital for free cataract surgery and the organizers had arranged free

surgery, IOL, free accommodation and food, medicines and

reimbursement of transport costs.

Srinivasan Lingeswaran, founder of Global Welfare Foundation

attended the camp and provided guidance. Mylai Jayaprakash,

secretary of Vyasarpadi Vinayaka Mudaliar Charitable Trust also

attended the camp
