Bhavan celebrates Kerala Formation Day

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Mylapore celebrated the formation of Kerala

State with folk music and dance of the God’s Own Country in

association with Ammu Stage Vision at its main auditorium last week.

Dr Nalli Kuppuswami Chettiyar of Nalli Silks and vice chairman of

Bhavan’s Chennai Kendra presided over the function.

K N Ramaswamy director of the Bhavan and K Venkitachalam, deputy

director took part in the celebrations. Some of the audience took to the

floor and danced to their heart with attractive rhythm of music

emanating from the stage.
