S G Sridharan honored for his service to arts

S G Sridharan, a retired Branch Manager of Indian Overseas Bank (IOB)

a Mylaporean and a connoisseur of music, dance, movies and arts was

honored for his 40 years of service to the society by Humor Club

International at a function held at Mylapore Fine Arts Club in Luz last

week.

Ace story and dialogue writer and humorist Chitralaya Gopu, actresses

of yester years Rajashree, Kanchana and Kumari Chachu, veteran actors

Kathadi Ramamurthy and Delhi Ganesh, TKS Kalaivanan, PBS

Paneendhra son of the late PB Srinivoss, Devasena Sridhar wife of

director late Srihdar, and Kalachakram Narasimha, author and

journalist, attended the event. The meeting also conducted

Kanakabhishekam to Chitralaya Gopu.
